Humphrey Fellowships

Educational and Cultural Programs:

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship:  This Program provides a year of professional enrichment in the United States for experienced professionals from countries throughout the world. Fellows are selected based on their potential for leadership and their commitment to public service in either the public or private sector. To date, 90 Ghanaians have participated in the program.  Upon return, alumni groups have constructively applied the experiences they gained from attending universities and completing hands-on internships at U.S. work places.  Ghana Humphrey alumni routinely rise to senior positions and are contributing to the country’s development in many spheres.
