The U.S. Embassy in Accra joined Unilever-Ghana and the Ghana Journalists Association to conduct training for approximately 80 journalists during the week of August 3 - 7. The training covered four thematic areas, including Business and Financial Reporting, covering health issues such as Malaria, HIV and AIDS, understanding Intellectual Property Rights, and Environmental Sanitation issues. Among the presenters was the Embassy Information Resource Officer, who conducted a seminar on effective media campaigns to promote HIV and AIDS awareness.
