PAY YOUR APPLICATION FEE Go to Standard
Chartered Bank (Liberia Road in Accra or Harper Road in Kumasi), and
pay the application fee of $131(or Ghanaian cedi equivalent). The bank will give you a receipt but will NOT
schedule an appointment for you. You will need the reference number
from your receipt and your passport to book your appointment.
Please note that MRV receipts are only valid for one year - you must book your appointment within a year of paying the MRV fee. SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT YOU
MUST FILL OUT YOUR NON-IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION (DS-156 AND, IF APPLICABLE,
DS-157) ON A COMPUTER. HAND WRITTEN APPLICATIONS OR APPLICATIONS TYPED
ON A TYPEWRITER ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE, AND YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED FOR
YOUR INTERVIEW IF YOU BRING THESE.
Please note: You must provide a valid email address and phone number in order to make an appointment. If you do not have an email address, please provide the email address of a friend or relative or workplace - someone who can contact you should we need to reschedule your appointment. If you do not provide a valid email address and phone number, the system will automatically cancel your appointment without any notification to you. If you have only one name enter it in the last name field then enter "N/A" in the first name field. The telephone number or email address you provide will only be used to contact you if it is necessary to cancel your appointment. When you've completed this step, the computer will generate an identification code and password. BEFORE PRINTING YOUR CONFIRMATION SHEET, WRITE DOWN YOUR IDENTIFICATION CODE AND PASSWORD. YOU MUST KEEP THESE NUMBERS TO ACCESS YOUR APPOINTMENT IN THE FUTURE. Print
out a copy of your confirmation sheet to bring to your interview. This
will serve as a reminder to you of the date and time of your appointment.
